REGION YOUTH MEET

16th -18th  May at Autherthaws Farm (Winston’s) nr Selby.

I would just like to tell all Leeds Da youth and their parents, about the region youth meet. It is a great opportunity for the youth to have a weekend away from their parents, and to meet up with friends old and new. We will be on site to supervise them and offer any help we can to them over the weekend, so don’t worry, they will be in safe hands!

Food will be provided for them over the weekend of:
Sausage and/or bacon sandwiches for both breakfasts

Hog roast with jacket potatoes and some fillings for Saturday tea.

Sat. dinner they will need something “snacky” - if it requires warming up or hot water we can help with that.

There will also be the usual tuck shop.

The cost for the weekend will be £11, however if you camped out in the youth area for 8 times or more, last year, then you will receive some subsidy from the DA.

When I get any further information I will pass it on or if you have any questions I will try to answer them.

There will be the usual sports, so bring your kit and your stamina; it would be great if we could enter teams….and win!!

National Youth Rally

Stanhope Showground 4th - 6th July 2008

Like the region meet…..but much bigger! Come and support Yorkshire region at this event, and “be proud to be a pudding”!! meet other youth from all over the country, compete in the various sports and party into the early hours!

There will be a coach laid on to get you all to the venue, and catering will be available from the “burger van” on site, but if you wish to cook your own that will be fine, just pitch your tent appropriately.

The approximate cost for the weekend will be £40, and this will include a t-shirt, coach fare and site fees.
