We arrived on site just after noon, followed soon by the first of many campers. Despite the rain, a total of 27 units arrived on Friday, with a further 5 joining us on Saturday.
The weather improved and it turned out to be a nice autumn weekend.
Saturday night saw an excellent bonfire and fireworks display, followed by a super supper of jacket potatoes with chilli, beans and cheese. Congratulations to the Youth for putting on a varied and entertaining social.
Following the coffee morning and the presentation of prizes on Sunday, we managed to pack the marquee away dry – after a good wipe down!
