Rallies & Holiday Sites
You can expect a warm friendly welcome at any of our sites - if you are a first time camper, please let the Stewards know and they will offer any assistance you may need.
Rallies are only open to Club members. Leeds DA runs rallies on most weekends from March through to November. These rallies provide a cheap and basic form of camping; your own sanitation is usually an essential item - a water point for drinking water and a waste/elsan disposal point being the only facilities on most sites. At some of our rallies you will find entertainment and social gatherings including suppers, communal barbeques and fun events. Other rallies will be simple, quiet rallies held in places not usually open to camping.
All weekend rallies open at 4pm unless by prior arrangement with the steward or sites officer (see Out and About for contact details). Please check before camping; if you arrive early, you may find the gate locked!!
Weekend rallies are run by voluntary stewards, without whom the rallies could not take place. If you can assist with this vital role, please let us know.
In addition to the weekend rallies, Leeds DA run four Holiday Sites. These again provide excellent value for money but are run for longer periods of time and are in locations ideal for holidays. On most of these sites, you will need your own sanitation. The rallies open at 12 noon on the first day and are run by volunteer stewards. These rallies are open to Club members, however, guests may camp providing this is within a members own unit; an additional guest fee will be charged.
