Welcome to Leeds DA's Youth Section
If you are aged between 12 and 21 years old and you are a member of the Youth Section of the Camping and Caravanning Club, you are welcome to join us at any weekend meet. If you are not already a member, you can join through the Camping & Caravanning Club (click here).
As a member of Leeds DA's Youth, you will have the opportunity to camp in our Youth area almost every weekend from March through to November. If you camp regularly, you will qualify for subsidised trips to other Club events. Each year there are special rallies organised purely for our Youth - a Winter rally, Regional rally, National rally and International rally - see the Youth Events page for full details.
Youth members are given the opportunity to take their "Camping Test". This involves demonstrating their ability (following training) to camp independently. Once they have passed their test, they are entitled to remain a Youth member until they are 21 years old; if they have not passed their test, they cannot renew their Youth membership after they are 18 years old. A mock test can be found on the Youth Events page.
